The kitchen in this 1940s house underwent a stunning remodel to blend modern functionality with classic charm. One of the key additions is an island, providing both extra storage and a cozy spot for seating. The doors and drawers of the cabinets were designed and crafted by the owner's father, with final assembly and finishing by Nauvoo Custom Woodworking. The cabinets matched perfectly to the original oak hardwood floors found throughout the house, lending a seamless flow to the space. With new floors and a backsplash tiled in a complementary style, the kitchen now boasts a perfect balance of timeless elegance and contemporary convenience.
