Tucker Deck Gallery

A note from Mr. Tucker: "When my wife and I bought the house back in 1991 it was a very plain 1960’s style colonial on a very beautiful tree covered lot. The special feature was this gorgeous multi tiered deck that snaked its way down to the woods below. I later found out the deck was designed and built by a 17 year old that had grown up across the street by the name of Darin McCuen. What a talented carpenter.  We bought the house based on the deck and the land. Over the next few years are family had grown and we added onto the house and had to remove the deck - we were very sad to see it go. Knowing I needed a new deck I worked with Darin to design one. It was a single level but beautifully sculpted out of Ipe (a Brazilian hardwood). The result was a gorgeous project that complimented my ideas for the property."
